Reaction to fire
BS 476: Part 6 (I) <12 (i1)<6 } meets UK class O* BS 476: Part 7 Class 1 } meets UK class O* ASTM E648 Class 1 AS/NZS 3837 Group 1 *These results are achieved using Laybond 77 and a plasterboard. This combination of Polyclad PU, adhesive and substrate meets the Class O requirement of Part B of the UK Building Regulations.

Clean rooms
ASTM F51/68 Class A – ‘non-shedding’. Suitable for use in the following classes of clean room: ISO 14644 -1 1999 Class 4

Hygiene
This product has been independently tested and results demonstrate that it inhibits the growth of MRSA on the wall cladding. An effective cleaning regime is however, the most important defence against infection.

Environment
Polyclad PU is 100% recyclable and contains 25% recycled material. A full Environmental Report detailing Polyflor’s achievements in areas such as recycling, energy reduction and waste avoidance can be found at www.polyflor.com/environment

The impervious finish only requires a wash down with hot water and sanitiser for it to be hygienic, clean and at the same time retain appearance

It is recommended that Polyclad Plus PU is used in conjunction with the Polyflor range of vinyl floorcoverings.
